Welcome to A.Y.E. Girvan! Our mission is to reduce the impact of poverty in Girvan and the surrounding villages through evidence-based initiatives and community-driven projects.

Who We Are

We are a dedicated team of local residents, volunteers, and experts committed to making a tangible difference in our community. Our charity was established with the vision of creating a more equitable and supportive environment for everyone, regardless of their economic background.

Our Mission

Our goal is to alleviate poverty and its many challenges by implementing effective, evidence-based solutions. We believe that by harnessing data and collaborating with community members, we can create sustainable change and improve the quality of life for all.

What We Do

We focus on a range of projects designed to address the root causes of poverty and provide immediate support to those in need. Our initiatives include:

Education and Skills Training: Offering programs to enhance employability and personal development.
Childcare: Access to affordable childcare is a significant barrier to employment for many families. We are currently in the consultation phase of our pay-what-you-can before and after-school club.
Everyday Practical Resources: Providing everyday essentials to alleviate the impact of the cost-of-living crisis.
